The One Club Creative Boot Camp is a diversity initiative with the goal of recruiting creative students from multicultural backgrounds who were not aware of advertising and design as a viable career option. The purpose is to introduce these students to the art of concepting and building a campaign for a real client from the ground up. In the past two years, we successfully completed the program twice in NYC with a total of 150 participating students from the City University of New York and once in Atlanta with 100 students from the Morehouse, Clark and Spelman campuses. This year we will make a return to Atlanta in early November, and a debut in Los Angeles in mid January at Art Center College of Design, before heading back to NYC in January of 2012. This is a program that has been created FOR future advertising and design creatives and is run BY creatives currently working in the industry.
